Binge Eating Disorder
A few important things to understand about Binge Eating Disorder
A Few Things You should know about binge Eating
1. It’s not your fault. You are not binge eating because you’re greedy, weak or an addict.
2. You weren’t born a binge eater.
3. You started the journey towards binge eating when you were very young.
4. Binge Eating Disorder can COMPLETELY end… RAPIDLY
1. It's not your fault. You are not binge eating because you're greedy, weak or
an addict.
It’s Not Your Fault.
Binge eating is an unconscious response to pain.
That part of your mind that runs life on autopilot, that can allow you to drive a car or complete a task while you are deep in conversation or miles away in thought is the part of your mind that controls binge eating.
You are no more in control of that part of your mind as you are in charge of the part of your mind that controls your breathing and blinking, (the very same part of your mind incidentally).
For a short while you can impact them all, but not lastingly, not effortlessly.
2. You weren't born a binge eater.
You weren’t born to binge…
Binge eating became a trauma response behaviour when you were very young.
At some point, after experiencing a trauma, feeling vulnerable, hurt, rejected or unseen a link to food, love, comfort and safety was established.
Maybe someone you felt safe with offered you something to eat to help comfort you, your unconscious mind may well have linked your pain being comforted by food as a way of comforting and calming you in future moments of hurt.
Food = Safety and comfort.
3. You Started Your Journey To Binge Eating When You were Very Young.
Your unconscious mind developed most of the strategies it was going to use to keep you safe and alive over the course of your formative years.
For some, food can be a kind of ‘gateway’ to other addictions.
Even though binge eating may not have been used as a coping mechanism until much later in life, food as comfort and safety was established when you were very small as a coping tool for future trauma.
As you got older and faced stresses, grief, loss, pressure, feeling unworthy etc. your unconscious mind will have implemented the programming for comfort using food.
That coping technique may have worked when you were small, but it’s of no use to you as an adult.
Unless the unconscious mind is updated it will keep linking food to trauma.
Other connections with the relationship between food and body image is quite common.
Sometime other feelings can trigger the opposite link to food=comfort.
The connection to food as a trauma response is from unconscious programming, and why most often binge eaters report not wanting the food but feeling like they have no control.
4. Binge Eating Disorder can COMPLETELY end... RAPIDLY
Because Binge Eating is a pattern or tool acquired by the unconscious mind as a coping mechanism to stress, it can be rewired, or release-from-service in the unconscious mind.
Hypnosis does just that.
Advanced Conversational Hypnosis is the fastest and most effective way of rewiring old outdated programs in the unconscious mind.
Just like smokers don’t want to smoke but struggle to stop, and alcoholics too, binge eating is a trauma response that can be undone in the unconscious mind.
ONE session is enough to address the old programming, to understand why it was established and to allow the unconscious mind to simply collapse the pattern.
Using a unique, gentle, conversation hypnosis there is no need to be put into deep trance. You are fully aware as you are guided to communicate from your unconscious mind.

Testimonials
I have been since the session. Understanding why I binge and what food meant to me since I was a child, has changed everything. It’s not like I’m trying to do anything differently, I just feel and am acting differently towards food, effortlessly.
My world for 37 years has revolved around food, diets and eating disorders. You have no idea how freeing it is to have space and peace from those thoughts. I finally feel like I’m healing the relationship with food, and myself. Thank you - this session has been life changing, life healing.
Stacey had done what no other therapist had managed, she skillfully guided me into that deeper, more receptive, state that had previously eluded me, freeing my resistant subconscious and providing remarkable results which continue to improve daily. I truly cannot speak more highly of Stacey's ability which was offered up with sincerity and kindness.
Thank you so much for Monday and for your kindness and understanding. Its been lovely working with you again.
Client review ADHD - Anxiety and spiraling thoughts
Hey Stacey, so lovely to hear from you!
I can’t even explain how much the session has changed the way I view myself,
something happened shortly after the session that normally would’ve put me in a
depressive state for weeks and I quite literally brushed it off as
if nothing happened!
I’m so thankful for how much you’ve helped me…
I’m overall feeling so much lighter and happier!
Thankyou!!!
